The Supervisory Board of febit group is chaired by Professor Christof Hettich. Vice Chairman is Professor Dr. Friedrich von Bohlen und Halbach.

Prof. CHRISTOF HETTICH | Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Professor Hettich has extensive experience in the legal, financial and economical aspects of structuration and restructuration of medium-sized and public companies; equity investments of start up companies; mergers and acquisitions and IPO preparations.
Professor Hettich serves as chairman and member on the board of several (public and non-public) companies and foundations e.g. chairman of the supervisory board of ACTRIS AG and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Sygnis Pharma AG. He is attorney and partner of RITTERSHAUS Rechtsanwälte in Mannheim/Frankfurt (www.rittershaus.net).
Professor Hettich is co-founder and managing director of dievini advisors in health sciences GmbH & Co. KG (www.dievini.de), a company which is advising SAP-Cofounder (www.sap.com) majority shareholder of febit Dietmar Hopp, regarding his life science investments. He has a law degree from the University of Freiburg (Germany) and Doctorate in law (LLD) from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. He was nominated Honorary Professor at the University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Heidelberg, Germany in 2004.

Prof. FRIEDRICH VON BOHLEN UND HALBACH | Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Friedrich von Bohlen brings more than 10 years of entrepreneurial experience in the Life Sciences Industry to the Board. He was co-founder and CEO of Lion Bioscience AG and was heading Lion’s IPO on the 'Neuer Markt', Frankfurt and Nasdaq, New York, in 2000. He has been awarded numerous prizes, including the German Entrepreneur of the Year prize in 1999 by Ernst & Young, SAP and Manager Magazin. He is also co-founder and since 2005 managing director of dievini Hopp Biotech holding GmbH & Co. KG, the Life Sciences investment company of SAP co-founder Dietmar Hopp. dievini’s investment focus is on oncology, CNS, personalized medicine and cell-based therapies.
Friedrich von Bohlen serves as chairman and member of the board of several public and non-public Life Sciences companies and foundations.
He holds a diploma in biochemistry from the University of Zurich and a PhD in neurobiology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. He was nominated Professor at the University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Heidelberg, Germany in 2008.

Dr. GERALD MOELLER
Dr. Gerald Moeller received his title in physical chemistry from the University of Kiel/Germany. He joined Boehringer Mannheim, a leading diagnostic and pharmaceutical company in 1975. In his 23 years with this company he worked in various responsibilities in Germany, Japan and the United States. Following functional responsibilities in Quality Control, Marketing, Evaluation and R&D he assumed business responsibilities in Biochemicals, Decentralized Diagnostics and Advanced Diagnostics before he became President of Boehringer Mannheim Therapeutics.
He also acted as Chief Technology Officer of CORANGE Ltd., the Holding Company of Boehringer Mannheim. In 1995 Dr. Moeller became CEO of the worldwide Boehringer Mannheim Group., a US$ 4 bio. company in 1997. After the acquisition of CORANGE Ltd. by Hoffmann La Roche in March 98, Dr. Moeller became Head of Global Development and Strategic Marketing Pharma and Member of the Executive Committee of Roche. He left Roche in December 1998.
He is currently the Managing Director of HBM BioCapital Management GmbH in Germany. Furthermore he assumed various Non-Executive Board memberships in Healthcare companies in the US, UK and Germany. Besides febit he acts as Chairman of Morphosys AG (Munich, Germany), Pelikan Technologies Inc. (Palo Alto, USA), MTM AG (Heidelberg, Germany), BRAHMS AG (Berlin, Germany), FIND Foundation (Geneva, Switzerland), 4sigma (Bermuda) Ltd. (Hamilton, Bermuda), invendo medical GmbH (Kissing, Germany) and Bioagency AG (Hamburg, Germany).

MICHAEL MAYER
Vintage 1953, educated as economist with a diploma of the Konstanz University, he started his professional career as editor on work fields in science and technology. The major part of the eighties Michael MAYER headed a work group at the Fraunhofer-Institute for Systems and Innovation Research dealing with governmental programs to support new technology-based enterprises and the related infrastructure, especially the then emerging German venture capital landscape. In 1990 founded TechnoStart, is CEO of the organisation and Managing Partner of all TechnoStart funds. TechnoStart has been highly active in supporting the development of the Geniom technology platform since its early days.

BERTHOLD WIPFLER
Born in 1947, Berthold Wipfler holds a Master of Fiscal Affairs (Diplom-Finanzwirt) from the Advanced College for Finance in Karlsruhe. From 1969 to 1985 he headed the fiscal administration department of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, followed by a position in the intermediate authority (Oberfinanzdirektion) Karlsruhe, department of audit, investigation of suspected tax offences, criminal matters and fines.
He lectured at the School of Finance in Karlsruhe and the Advanced College for Finance in Ludwigsburg as well as at Bundesfinanzakademie Siegburg from 1969 to 1985.
In 1985 as a certified tax consultant Berthold Wipfler started the tax consulting partnership Wipfler & Partner in Walldorf. Wipfler & Partner from the early days on very successfully until today consulted SAP and the SAP Founders, especially Dietmar Hopp and Hasso Plattner. Mr. Wipfler and his Company during these years gained an enormous amount of knowledge on Business Building serving a broad range of high profile customers (Wipfler & Partner).
Mr. Wipfler is the executive managing director of the Hasso-Plattner-Stiftung für Softwaresystemtechnik, Potsdam, member of the board of trustees of Hochschule Karlsruhe – technology and economy, as well as member of broad variety of supervisory boards.
