New HybSelect Publication - Enhance your miRNA profiling

Dear Scientist,

Don’t miss febit’s Science Lounge Webinar on recent results in non-coding RNA research and Next Generation Sequencing.

In cells from all organisms studied to date two different types of RNAs have been found: messenger RNAs (mRNAs), which are translated into proteins, and so-called non-protein-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), which are not translated into proteins but function at the level of the RNA itself. How many of these ncRNAs really exist in the genomes of model organisms and what are their functions?

By employing sophisticated selection procedures for experimentally identifying novel ncRNAs in various genomes my lab aims to separate the “transcriptional noise“ from biologically functional ncRNAs. At the same time, we aim for elucidating the biological functions of ncRNAs, specifically as crucial genetic switches in the regulation of gene expression.
For participation please visit febit’s website some minutes prior to the start of the webinar.

Sincerely,

Peer Staehler
