miRNA biomarker profiling from blood, body fluids, biopsies, FFPE, Tissue

Cooperation with Life Technologies HybSelect Sequence Capture combined with SOLiD

Recently febit signed a co-marketing agreement with Life Technologies to provide SOLiD users with the HybSelect sequence capture technology. Learn more about HybSelect and our spectrum of products and services on our website and attend our upcoming webinar.
Further we would like to draw your attention to two recent papers that again demonstrate the analytical power of miRNA based profiling of samples. While the first study examines lung cancer, the second paper serves as initial proof of concept for Multiple Sclerosis.

Both studies are based on febit’s sensitive biochip technology for measuring marker miRNAs and developing predictive miRNA signatures. The system enables easy analysis of miRNA biomarkers from blood, other body fluids, FFPE, fresh or frozen tissue sections.

miRNA: new publications The results of a recent febit study are published in BMC Cancer and provide further evidence of the vast potential of miRNA biomarker profiling from blood samples of individuals with cancer. Furthermore, a Multiple Sclerosis study published in PLoS ONE extends this proof of concept for autoimmune diseases.
