Geniom Biochips for Catalog or Custom Microarrays

The disposable Geniom® Biochip supports 8 individual microarrays enabling parallel hybridization of up to 8 different samples.

The array features are located inside microchannels with individual fluid control, serving as a reaction carrier for in situ oligonucleotide synthesis and as a hybridization chamber. The microfluidic channels are closed compartments in which there is no contamination or evaporation. It enables reliable and reproducible results, eliminates handling artifacts such as bubbles, and protects microarrays from environmental elements such as ozone and ambient light.

For convenient handling, the Geniom Biochip is mounted on a cartridge.

Each of the 8 arrays contains 15,000 individual features and may be loaded with a different sample or combined to obtain up to 120,000 features for high-density applications.
